Although every treatment plan is personalized, here's a quick overview of the services we commonly provide at each stage of life.
Infants
Birth through 12 months
Therapy for infants
We provide infants with therapy due to limited tongue function and for pre and post tongue tie support.
This is especially noticeable when breastfeeding due to:
Shallow latch
Mothers experience pain/discomfort while nursing
Mothers experience consistent or reoccurring mastitis
Your baby never seems to be full
Clicking or smacking noises while feeding
Gagging, choking, coughing while feeding
Poor weight gain
Reflux symptoms
Fussiness
Gassiness
Tightness in the mouth and/or body
Lip curls under while nursing or taking a bottle
Pacifier falls out easily or unable to hold a pacifier
Lip blisters
Open mouth posture
